moving to central london

A fabulously witty, lovable, kind, good natured, and steadfast friend of mine will be moving to his new home here tomorrow (see where the red arrow points).

** I’m so envious **

It’s right round the corner from a small Tesco Metro (it’s a little bit further away to the nearest Sainsbury’s), a very short walk away from the world’s most fabulous stationery shop (Paperchase), a slightly longer walk to gay-couples central on weekends (Habitat and Heal’s) but more importantly it is right in the backyard of Oxford Street and Soho! Could you live any more central in London?!?!!!!

  1. hi, very central indeed. he is very near some fab indian restaurants specialising in south indian cuisine on hanson st, off new cavendish st.

  2. Anthony - I don’t think he’s into Indian cuisine much. Chinese is more his cup of tea if you know what I mean…!!

  3. *sigh* I have fond memories of staying on Greek St. Its been so long ago..Bar Italia’s capuccinos, the Clone Zone, Compton’s-my local and muscle maries sunbathing in Soho Square in summer. Did I mention cruising at Russell Square?

  4. Russell Square?!? Only in the dark of the night I guess…! I walked pass it on an almost daily basis for two years and nothing ever happened to me! *grin*

  5. Hmm, I know that Tesco Metro, used to go there for my groceries during my days in UCL. If i remember correctly there is a Thai restaurant nearby to Goodge Street, it’s along Whitfield Road. Further up nearer to Euston Square, got a sandwich shop that sells yummy sandwiches…

Damn, now I am really envious!
